[help] Msn Messenger For Mac

well guys and gals i need a little tech support here. My MSN Messenger for my Mac keeps signing out and it's bothering me.

Im about ready to huck my eMac out the Window. I remember there was a topic to fix this posted a while back but I can't find it.

And jsut to note i want to learn to fix my MSN not use some other chat program

It's not your eMac it is MSN Messenger and you can try trashing the preferences that works miracles.

You're using Panther yes? Just type in "MSN" in the search and delete the (or any) .plist files that have the name "MSN Messanger" (or variants, it could be called Microsoft.MSNMessenger.plist etc).

OR you could get a better MSN client. I mean come on, MSN Messenger for Mac blows.

Hmm you know, msn does the same damn thing to me in no matter what client i'm using on my mac, MSN messenger, proteus, hell even adium. It doesn't do it on my pc though. :/

I'm gonna go ahead and suggest AMSN Messenger which I'm currently using on my iMac G4. It's great, doesn't crash and has got some real nifty features.

i accidentally deleted my archived conversation folder on my mac. i use msn messenger 5. is there any way to recover this? pls help

isn't it in your trash bin? unless you used secure empty trash you can still recover it (i don't know the programs though)
