[help] Monospace Truetype Fonts

Hello, i dont know anything about standards in "fonts". I use an IRC client who only use truetype fonts, and the font i want to use is not a truetype one. The font name is "nu" (here http://creepit.com/nu.fon) and i'am wondering if there is any programm to 'convert' the monospace to truetype ?

Or maybe that font already exists in truetype ?
