Finally It Is Aqua-related!

Sorry for the multi-posting. I wrongly posted it in General Discussion.

Hi guys,

If you are using or want to use Apple Pro Mouse with your Windows machine, iMouse might be helpful to you. It simulates right-click with Apple Pro Mouse in various convenient ways.

Now thanks to Don Botana for redesigned the GUI of iMouse in a totally skinned look! (See the following image)

Thanks!

Cool. :)

All I need is a scroll hack now. ;)

There was a program a long while ago when i had mouse without mousewheel. Called Scroll++ from pointixx. It's hard time finding that app since the developpers no longer support it  ... good luck though ;)

Hi, MaXus!

Your idea is nice, but the problems are:

1/ I don't know if it can be implemented in iMouse;

2/ we have a single button mouse: then how is it possible to have with this single button 3 different functions:

a/ normal click - double click (left-click)

b/ right-click

c/ scrolling like Scroll++

... I mean that if we always use the keyboard in order to activate those complementary features, it is a bit nonsense. No?

Or if you have a solution, you are welcome, because I really don't know how to keep iMouse simple of use with this hypothetic (and useful, of course) added feature of scrolling.

Cheers,

Don.

Heh ... true.

Actually today i sat behind a power G4 with this slick 1 button mouse ;) ... The whole idea bout scroll emulation with 1 button indeed is pretty hard to implement. The only solution would be an activation towards mouseguestures ... But i think it is a hard job to implement

The only thing i can say :

it's the choice between

- The looks of a mouse.

- The functionality of a mouse.

Perhaps like QCD ... use of tripple and quadclick. Then again ... just show the people relaxt how to scroll that bar on the right of your window is fancy enough ;). instead of performing wild movements just to innitiate the mousescrolling :P

Another solution : The usb Power mate ... have a look at this :D

d/ shift+drag (move)

e/ ctrl+drag (copy)

Erm... hmm...

He's using my shutdown orb in his app, an old version of it and without any mention of my name or a proper copyright notice...

tsk tsk tsk

As I explained in a PM to Orcinus, I'm sorry if I have used an icon without mentioning the author - mea culpa.

I have used in fact the library of 500 icons posted a few weeks ago. There is no mention of authors, for it is certainly a melting-pot of icons in png format.

Secondly, I did not see Orcinus' work, then it was in good faith I used it.

If Orcinus wants, Livecn and I can add a mention with Orcinus' name in the iMouse app.

What do you think?

Best regards,

Don.

No need for that and no prob! I just wanted to make things straight...
