ok i'm not sure if cross platform is the right place for this as my pc has windows but it doesn't even get to the "windows xp" screen. now it turns on, my fan spins, my cdrom drives initialize (actually one of them can also read dvds but that doesn't matter i think) and the hdd light stays on constantly. i dunno if a siren comes on (that means it has a problem, obviously) because my pc speaker isn't plugged in. i just got a new psu yesterday. i'll post my specs if asked.
[help!] My Pc Won't Turn On Right
Remove the "PSU"... Plug the mother f*cking PC speaker in! Why would you ever un plug that in the first place? IT needs to be plugged in..
This is how your PC communicates with you when it has somthing wrong with it...

mind him,
whispers>its his time of month
although he has a point. The PC speaker will give you a beep code to tell you if there is an error during POST. Without it, how the hell do you hear the error code?
Plug it back in.
