[help] How Do I Make Programs Start First?

when i turn on my computer, adn go into windows xp, i do not know how to force which programs to start first, like the netvigator broadband connection to connect to the internet, and object dock and object bar. how do i make sure they start first before everything else? is there a program makes me have full control?

Probably the easiest way is to put shortcuts to the apps you want to load in the "Startup" folder.

The Startup folder is in your start menu, or

"C:\Documents and Settings\USER\Start Menu\Programs\Startup"

Another way is if the programs themselves have options to load on windows startup. These will more than likely add registry entries.

i already know that. but, how do i make this program start in startup before this program? it's the order that's the problem for me. not how to make things start. thank you. sometimes i have to wait for a very long time for my comptuer to go online automaticly. :rant:

Hungryz, what steelfist was looking for is a way to have the programs start up in order. Not in random order, but a specific order.

Put all the entries that you want into a batch file in the order you want them to start in. Simple....
