[request] Load Config Options

I'm sure that alot of people have done this. I know I have. You plot out a perfect look and placement for your AveDesk Icons, and then you accidentally press "Auto-align" just to check out what it is. >.<

Well, I did this and it took me FOREVER to get it just like I had it (I found an easy way though, I just set the Avedesk desktop screeny I posted as my background).

So I was just wondering is a "Load Configuration" option could be put under the "Save Configuration line in the command console, because at some point there will be another Avedesk ****ie like me who did not take a screenshot of his/her placement.

P.S. And yes, I tried the logoff/logon shutdown/restart thing to get my config to load, to no avail. Auto-align must have some magic override powers.

Thanks

what you can do is in your avedesk folder, backup your config.ini file.

although, this would be cool for avedesk 1.2, and posibly and option for user indapendant configs.

Small Typo:

The file name is Theme.ini

I'm new to Avedesk in the last 24hrs, so apologies if this is covered elsewhere or is obvious.

I see another use for a "Load Config" option. On my laptop, 90% of the time I'm on ethernet and AC, but the other 10% I'm on WiFi and battery. It would be nice to create two sets of configs with a few desklets specific to each set of conditions. That way I could load them quickly and on demand rather than having to start and stop and rearrange them properly every time.

All in all, a great piece of software and I'm already running it at home and at the office. Thanks to everyone involved in developing it and the many desklets/docklets.

Thank you for your kind words.

Laptop specifics have already been addressed here:

The load config option has been implemented already and will be available with the upcoming 1.2 release. Don't ask me when because recent troll attacks made us halt development until further notice.
