[help] New Hard And Windows Xp Crashes

hey,

i finally got my SATA hard drive set up (maxtor 80gb) and i did a fresh windows xp pro install. funny thing is its giving me the same windows explorer crashes as my other hard drive. what gives? its a new hard drive? what drivers should i get if they are causing the crashes and BSOD errors? my motherboard is a MSI KT6, Via. do i need the latest via drivers, and sata drivers? im confused? any links would help as well

What are the BSOD errors? If it's a new hard drive, likely something else is wrong with your system. Have you chekced your power supply? Perhaps it's not up to snuff.
