Screwed Myself By Installing Sp1 Mod File To Sp2

Here is a horror story and would highly appreciate some help.

After installing sp2 update I installed the "sk english files 2004" mod and to my dismay my computer crashed. It shows the windows boot screen then the BSOD briefly and then restarts. This happens continuously. Attempted "safe mode" but the same thing.

Can I rescue my PC without a clean install or can I restore using the command promtp??? Please help

You can boot your PC with Windows XP bootable cd and use the repair option. It'll help a little (not loosing all of your files).
