[help] Winxp Pop-up Balloons / Squares.

Hello all,

How can I change the color of the Windows XP pop-up balloons / sqaures?

Normally these balloons are yellow, here's a screenie:

How can I change the color of it? I know its possible because the theme Luna VX has changed the color into light blue. Can someone help me?

If your just changing the colour for your own use, and not releasing the theme. then you could use 3D Colour Changer...

I've google'ed it and I found it.

You don't need another program to do it.

Set the VS/Theme and all that which you want to use. Apply it.

Right Click Desktop ---> Properties

Apperance Tab -----> Click The Advanced button

Choose Tool tip from the drop down menu and the little box will become selectable so you can change the colour

yeah john is right i did this in the "olden days" when i had windows 95 (not the golden days as i wasn't around then) lol

EDIT: you didn't blur out that link a lot. it looks like it says "nutshell". you read the "in a nutshell" series by o'reilly? (i think thats how you spell it)

yeah, john's right, but you can also specify that color in the msstyles file using stylebuilder, like flarex said.
