Aqua-Soft Forumsin the windows explorer? I fiddled around with iconpackager and the maximum size seemed to be 70x70...
I just think it would be nice to be able to browse your computer with crispy clear 128x128 icons....

if i'm not mistaken though, this will change the size globally, not just in explorer... e.g. start menu, desktop, etc.
maybe not? not sure...
This is why I like desktop replacements so I can have different sized icons on the desktop and file manager.

Desktop icons and the start menu are also part of explorer. Just kill explorer and you'll see what happens. (

edit: And that tut follows the same (and only, AFAIK) method as the one I posted.

To quickly change my icon sizes I use the following .reg files:
You can edit these .reg files to any icon size you like - just remember that even at high resolutions, 512x512 size icons are almost unmanageable. If Im not mistaken Timan once hit 2048x2048 icon size... and after taking a quick screenshot reverted back to something more workable.
To acquire different sizes on the desktop, I leave the desktop itself void of icons and use widget apps such as AveDesk 1.1 or DesktopX (both are freeware). Usually 72x72 is a good explorer size because changing your sys icons also effects your save/ open dialogs - this can get messy at 128x128. I hope this helps.

when i said explorer, i was inferring windows explorer, the file manager... this is what i assumed he only wanted to change the icons on.
look at the time, we posted a minute apart, probably finished typing mine as you hit add reply
