Just Formated

I just formated my Hard Drive and so lost all my Apps, my themes and System files.... Its hard to say but seeing how much effort I put Aquafing my PC and see that I have to do it again makes me shrug. So I doubt I will ever Aquafy my PC again. And seeing how my PC is mostly used for Gaming, all the Aquafy processes are a bit of memory hog. I think its preety much a goodbye. Or maybe not :naughty:

Its been great being here. I meet fantastic people and discovered many things about Macs that I couldnt have figured out if I wasnt here.

I would like to thank some people for everything. But the list is too big, and I would probably forget some people, so its more fair this way

Farewell & thank you all

Thanks for being a part of the community. Please know you are always welcome back if you ever feel the urge to "aquify" again.

I run alot of very resource intense apps, usually at the same time when I work here from the house. AutoCAD, Photoshop 7.0, Acrobat 6.0, Excel and a few web browser windows place a HUGE load on my machine. Yet apps like AveDesk 1.1 and iTunes keep moving along, without slowing me down at all. So think about leaving...maybe you could pick and choose a few items to customize and do a minimum approach... I dont know. Just keep your options open. :)

Who wants to aquafy their PC anyway? The only thing I have remotely related to aqua are the sounds, mouse cursors and dock. Aqua has been out the window for a looooong time for me, it got boring pretty fast.

just in time, i was thinkin to reformat my system partition -_- , it's good that i have all the other files in other partition :D, about the non-aqua crusade, i'm with yo doode, i'm using a minimal vs for so long and i'm not sick of it :canadian:

back in topic. hopy u'll reconsider this, coss it's like drugs, once u tried deskmod u'll never can't stop! ;)

1. you should have partitions, so when you reformat your windows partition, your personal data (including mods and extra files) will be left untouched.

2. you don't have to apply all the aqua mods to have a nice aqua pc. :)

3. you don't have to aquafy. there are always other styles, other works of art that you can seek.

in any case, take care! :)

yeah! fork aquafying... i'm now into modifying to suit what works for me, productive, but still aestheticlly yum.

Amen! Having a second partition (or second hard drive) has saved my ass a million times.

When I meant Aquafying I meant modding my Windows.

Some time before I formatted I was using Aston Shell. Trying something different from Aqua (I still had everything) and man. All those futuristic themes and wallpapers made droll over them.

I also have a passion for Dark themes and Futuristic ones (Yes I tried Shinobi and Neos at the past and Eylo too) but none of them could make me say "This is my favorite theme" for a long time

Also, wasnt there a Mac theme called BBX Omega that was being made for Windows too? Wasnt it futuristic and dark?

Anyway I hope I see ya around guys, like Static said, modding my my desktop "it's like drugs, once u tried deskmod u'll never can't stop!"
