It'd be nice to have a desktop widget that could point to 1 or 2 folders and automatically rotate the desktop's wallpaper. It'd also be cool to see the thumbnails and be able to manually switch them.
What think?

no it hasnt been done... isnt that just for small picture slideshow? I think he means a wallpaper changer like on the mac that rotates your desktop wallpaper with a smooth animation every so often.
I would really like it if the app could make wallpapers fade in / out.
That way I could take the panther wallpaper and color it a whole
bunch of different colors in PS and have them slowly blend from
one color to another

Yep. Thats more like what I'm wanting. I've got the picture, slideshow thingy. And its pretty cool.
But I'm wanting something like this....
