[preview] Paper And Plastic

i've talked to the author, which told me kol was porting it... so i talked to kol, kol said he has/had no plans of doing it. I spoke to the author again, he has given me permission but wants me to contact phil from macthemes.net. I wrote phil and he wanted a screenshot.. so i'm waiting to hear back.

Here is the screenshot i sent to him.. what do you think

I made a toolbar for my windowblinds skin... if you want to use it your are welcome to it. You could probably adabt it fairly easy. Let me know if you need anything else also. It looks really good though.

@Bubba - you making a theme file for stylexp? because i know if you've updated to the latest version rename the toolbar in a zip file to iebarzip and it'll integrate nicely.

Looks good! I started porting and asked for permission a long time ago and was told the same thing, that kol was supposed to do it so I dropped it, was wondering why I never heard anything after that about kol even working on it.

please fix the clickable buttons like OK and Cancel, i think you need to move them up one or something since the shadow thats supposed to be under them isn't showing totally / correctly.

I am assuming the theme is based on the brushed style window of pnp, correct? ;) So could you possibly do a variation based on the regular style window, so that it has white below the titlebar, and "paper" style as aposed to plastic, see here . if you could do thi si would grately appriciate it :D .

BTW, i noticed in the screeny's credits box, you left out that the theme was desgned by mike matas, dont forget to give him any credit. :smartass: >.<

and about an alternative style.. i dont think it will be happening this weekend anyway.. but possibly sometime in the future.

bubba, u remember we talked long long time ago about this baby in other threats here and now i´m way more than glad u do the work and port it. thanks a lot.

may i ask if it would be possible for u to test ur theme with lucida grande font? something like Three Drives do with his themes like TD 4.0, Tiger (beta) and others. u know, i just love having this fonts as systemfonts and they really do give the "real" finish.

take ur time, i´m sure we all waited for a damn good reason long for p&p. thx mate.
