[request] Ipod Software Suggestions

I was wondering if someone could kindly direct me to some iPod software that will pin a shortcut to my desktop (I'm not sure if AveDesk does this. If so, that's Great). Also, if I could just drag & drop the files I want to the iPod icon that would be swell.

I've tried Anapod and it rubbed me the wrong way. I didn't like that I couldnt remove it from the My Computer folder.

You can use the "Drive Desklet" in AveDesk and you can also set it to hide when it is not plugged in.

Are you wanting to add songs to the library when you drag it into the iPod? If so then I am sorry I can't help you. The iPod and iTunes has to add it to a database for it to play it. If you just want to use it as a normal removable hard drive, the AveDesk Desklet would be the best thing to do. But you just won't be able to play it on the iPod because of the aforementioned problem.
