Cdcovers Request

Is anyone working on a CDCovers widget or a sysstats config? I know there is one for ITunes but I hate that program and hope someone is doing one that will function with winamp.

There is still my (neglected) Scriptable Multimeter Desklet at Dockex.com.

One of its configs uses the Samurize AMPI plugin so it should work with Winamp.

Feel free to modify it as you wish.

Thnx for the resonse I tried to install and get it up and going. I installed samurize and then tried to add the docklet. As soon as I click on the itunes config it bombs avedesk. Any ideas?

Which version of Samurize and which version of winamp are you using?

Maybe Samurize doesn't support your version - have a look at the readmes

in your samurize folder.

Actually that should work so far.

Had no problems with Samurize up to 1.40 yet, perhaps they changed

something in the AMPI plugin. Before I infect my iTunes only machine with

WinAmp, I'd like to ask you to downgrade to version 1.40 instead of 1.55.

If you can wait a few days, I can install and test both on a machine already

equipped with WinAmp 2.

Ok, I downgraded to Samurize 1.40 and left Winamp at 5.03. Works like a champ. They must have changed something in the later versions of Sam. Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help you out.
