actually, it doesn't work. the skin part loads, but when I click on the buttons nothing happens

@abba: did you make sure you started winamp?
winamp must be loaded at the same time as the widget in order to make the buttons function.
otherwise it must be that the play,next etc. buttons
are not linked to the scripts. i'll look into that.
well, yes, winamp was open the the miniwidget instance was launched. are you saying I need to launch both of them at the exact same time?
no, you don't need to load them at the same time, check your config file and make sure that the buttons are linked to the .vbs scripts.
after the config is loaded, and a button is pressed this is the error:

hmm, edit your config file and link the buttons to "...\Program files" make sure the links are with lower/upper case like the folders in your system.
is your samurize installed in the default dir ? else try changing the path "c:\program files\samurize" to yours

yes but is your samurize installed in program files ? look it the file it is searching for is indeed there or not,
else maybe you would need to reinstall the windows script host, it is known to break quite often
