[release] Minicpu For Avedesk

OK, saw someone mention this the other day and thought I'd give it a go. MiniCPU is now available for AveDesk! :D

MiniCPUPreview.png

If you've seen the original widget you'll notice that the U and S meters aren't displayed. Why? Well, I have no idea what they were meant to be measuring, so I didn't include them. If you know, add them yourself or tell me and I'll upload a new config. And for an extra kicker, the label measures free RAM!

Just to quell those that might say something, I have made these from scratch. I have not ported any images from the Konfabulator widget what-so-ever.

Oh, and the link.

MiniCPU for AveDesk

PS: Possible addition of colors may be considered.

PSS: Push me Seph. :naughty:

Push you? what kind of sick twisted games do you think i play? :P

Great job Guido!

Nice stuff Guido. Saw your progress at gfxOasis and they look great. :)

Thanks all! Just found out what U and S stand for. (I'm borrowing a Mac lappy at the moment.) U is for User and S is for System. I don't think that there is an equivelent in Windows so I probably won't add that to the config.

I must say that Ave did an excellent job in bringing a Konfabulator like program to Windows. Well done Ave!

These look like they would fit nicely in a dock too. Please consider trying them in ObjectDock/YzDock and uploading them to wincustomize, deviantart and dockex.

P.S. I notice that the path to the images is absolute - SysStats is supposed to be smart enough to use relative paths. Looks like another bug to fix :(

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Will do judge. Since I don't use them at work it'll have to wait until tonight. I'll try something then and will post back here with any findings.

Oh, I forgot to say that I have AveDesk, and hence SysStats, in a non-standard install path. Like judge said, SysStats should update the image path itself, but you might have to change it manually. (At least I think that's what judge is saying.)

Hyral, the black one is my fav as well.

No ideas here. I had to install the digital font on my work computer as the ones that where already there didn't display right. I honestly can't tell you where I got this font; probably included in a theme I downloaded.

Oh wait. Did you reboot after installing the font?

I would guess the format somehow got messed up. Either re-extract the configs or check the meter's configuration. The format for CPU should read: %.0f

That's a zero, not an O.

I didnt touch anything Guido... as you have packed is it... Just change the path of the images, nothing more, to see something, because without them the widget is 'transparent' except for the fonts (and show a -1)

judge, it say: (Meters/CPU/Configure/Configure) "Select Counters from list" and in gray "" and nothing to select and enabled to click OK

:(
