Recycle Bin

My kinda a **** to customizing me desk.... Just wondering how i can get rid of the Recycle Bin Icon (The only one i cant get rid of). It doesnt really fit anywhere in my desktop

TWEAKUI from microsoft.com can do that.

Since you want to get ride of everything, use that option in DeskTop X.

It's in Theme Settings, hide desktop icons.

Ive heard that TweakUI from Microsoft can get rid of it ... just not sure which particular program from the TweakUI set it is. Can you tell me which one to get?

actually there doesnt seem to be an option in TweakUI to get rid of the Recycle Bin from the desktop.... or im just not seeing it. Can anybody point out where it is.

Btw. I dont want to get rid of all the icons on my desktop. I still want to keep my shortcut icons and stuff. Just wanted to get rid of the My computer, Recycle Bin, My Network Places, and My Documents.

Here is where you can remove the Recycle Bin from the desktop in TweakUI.

The easiest way to do it and without using third party apps is to run group policy gpedit.msc

and go to user configuration administrative template and desktop then on right side choose which items to turn off
