i want to be able to change keyboard settings (hiragana/katakana/english) with an icon in objectbar. i see japanese users here have that kana icon in their system tray, how do i get that? is that only on japanese version of windows?

Only if you set a keyboard shortcut for EVERY language. Must go in "Control Panel -> International -> Languages -> Details -> Selected services. Select every added language, then click on "Key Settings" button and choose. For example, I have LeftAlt+Shft+0 for US, LeftAlt+Shft+1 for RO (Romanian), LeftAlt+Shft+2 for DE (German) and LeftAlt+Shft+3 for HU (Hungarian). I never see it in the ObjectBar, but I know that are.
If you know an APPLICATION, that saves SEPARATE FILES for EVERY LANGUAGE / KEYBOARD LAYOUT and these application have the ability to change the keyboard layout when you doubleclick the correspondent file, it's easy to create a menu in Objectbar and every language from these menu to be linked with the correspondent app(?) file. I don't know this kind of application. Maybe is possible with Windows Scripts, but I have no ideea about programming. I hope to launch a challenge.

got a reply from mills. its IME Watcher and you can grab icons for it here
it works for switching between any language, but the menus are in japanese. i guess if you can't read it then it wouldn't help too much...
edit: oh and it goes in system tray, so it has nothing to do w/ object bar... but since i can't get the default windows keyboard switcher to show up in object bar, this is the best option available (unless you want to use the cumbersome desktop language switcher).

Seriously, the image is edited one. I saw Mac have that language selection. I still can't figure out how to make the language bar work. Can somebody do a research on it? maybe it's a link to a WINDOWS folders programs. Any programmers here who can "hack" into the OS to get this language bar done on ObjectBar?
