[help] Formatting & Bluetooth

first post, not sure why it's taken so long but nevermind. Quality website.

two questions:

1.

I was planing to format c: soon since it's been nearly a year :blink:

I have two hard drives in my pc and they are both partitioned using partition magic 8 into 5 drives. One has C, E & F, the other G & H (CD drives make up other letters).

If i format just C: alone in DOS, will the partitions remain and therefore making it alright to leave data (non programs and games) on the other partitions?

or would I have to put everything onto the other drive, format the main one andf recreate the partitions.

2.

I've wondered this for a while since i thought a cordless PC mic may be useful. Do bluetooth USB dongles communicate with bluetooth headsets, and therefore does windows allow you to use it as a microphone & headphones?

If you format a drive letter than the other partions will retain all the data on each of them. Beacause the computer thinks of them as phisical drives, not logical.

I have a backup partioton on my computer just in case I need to do emergency back-up and re-format!
