You dont have the right font..
download the font then restart avedesk
I just downloaded the skin, and the album art its shown behind it 
(the iTunes icon is in the front) Could someone tell me what's wrong?
I like didnt have any problems with it dont use the album art dont like drag and drop like for it to download and display it so cant help on any album art problems

I have one tiny suggestion Hyral. Perhaps if you used a font that everyone has on their system, that would cut down on the 'issues' some have. Personally, I don't mind getting fonts and installing them, so don't get me wrong here. I DO believe that the artist/designer/programmer/etc has every right to do it the way they see fit. But too, in this community of mods and skinning and such, if someone has the knowledge, they will change it the way they see fit to work with their current configs/desktops/themes/visual styles etc.
Another idea is to include the font with the skin, but of course, only if that particular font is freely distributable.
Just a though to make your life a little easier ... again, great job on this!
What font do you need for this and where can I get it?

I noticed that if the artist or song name is too long, the beginning cuts off. Also, the pause icon just overlaps the play icon when you pause the song.

I am haveing the the same problem and i have the newist version of Avetunes
Same problem here with latest AveTunes (album art behind iTunes picture).
