I've been trying to get the horizontal calendar to work but I can't get it to. I've got sysstats in c:.../avedesk/desklets and the calendar in /docklets/horizontal calendar.
When I try to add sysstats to avedesk it doesn't even appear on the list. Any help would be appreciated.
Well... the Calendar should go in the Sysstats folder, that should be ...avedesk\docklets\systats
well i got that part sorted out, but I still can't add it from the "add desklets" window

you have to load systats, then right click on the systats config and "load config" Then select horizontal calendar
Hey, dont listen to these ppl. I had the same problem. Your systats folder is busted. redownload Avedesk and just replace the systats folder and then add the horizontal calendar again and check add desklets and sysstats should be there. I had the same exact problem tho dude.

you have to replace the complete docklets-folder with the desklet one.
there are no docklets in avedesk.
(just rename the docklet-folder to desklet and then copy in your avedesk folder)

How about creating a new systats meter, right-clicking on it, selecitng "load..." from the menu, and manually selecting the calendar config? I did it and it worked like a charm.
To clear things up: AveDesk can also handle a docklets folder. Just create one in your AveDesk folder and you can drop docklets there. I've done this because a lots of zips depend on that folder.

Also, make sure you have the newest version from Dockex, a few bits were fixed yesterday.
well i dunno anymore..i've tried everything you guys have said and still nothing...did a fresh install of avedesk, unzipped SysStats into it's defualt (c.../Avedesk/Docklets and still nothing.
ACiD, you don't see SysStats anywhere in the Add Desklets dialog?

Well, I'm having the same problem with system stats. It's just with the vertical and horizontal calendar though. Every other docklet works.
Idea - Could it be that SysStats has problem working on NON-SP1 machines? My laptop that doesnt't have the Service Pack has problems (as I said in almost every other SysStats topic in AS) and my PC which has SP1 works SysStats fine....
I know theres a problem with Win2000 but could there be a problem with non-SP1?

Just upgraded to SP1 and it still doesn't work.... I'm totaly lost and frustrated.
I am having the exact same problem. Can someone with it working post their EXACT folder structure please? None of this /avedesk/desklets crap.
Something like this:
1. Unzip systats
2. Put systats folder in C:\Program Files\Avedesk\****
etc
Maybe its because of XP Home?

Same here... can't make sysstats work... i may be wrong but do u really need to have some administrative rights to make it work? I'm am trying to make this work in a non-admin environment. Would that be the reason? I need enlightenment, I am desperately making sysstats work. Or should it be found under C:\Program Files or somthing similar?
Btw, I read the posts... made two directories for docklets and desklets... I can see it is under the add desklets menu but after hitting add item... fizzles and this pops up:
