[question] Firefox Tabs

Maybe this is not the right part of the board to post this question - but I couldn't find anywhere that would be more suitable than General Discussion (if I didn't miss anything).

Just a quick question - how can someone change the writing in tabs in 'Firefox'. At the moment, the tabs are white - and so is the text. Even when the tab is de-selelected, the writing is still not visible enough.

Is there an easy way to do this? The screenshot of the firefox skin I downloaded clearly showed the tabs - and the writing on it was black and clear.

So is the skin to blame? or me? or a setting in firefox itself?

have you tried other skins? it might be skin-specific. if so, you could edit the theme (maybe the css file).

You can edit the way your tabs look in the userChrome.css located in your profile's chrome folder.

.tab-text { color: #000000; } should set the text to black.

Thanks all - I tried my best to follow the advice given, but still no luck! I found this: http://www.aqua-soft.org/board/index.php?s...pic=17371&st=15 which seemed promising ... but even following that hasn't helped.
