Hyperpaint?

i saw this option in the advance option in WB.

What is hyperpaint, and how do i know whether my hardware supports it?

btw, does it really boost performance?

If the option is available then your video card can do hardware transparency. What it does is put all the windows into the "transprency overlay" at 100% on your video card. Which speeds up dragging of windows if your AGP\Card is fast enough.

The slider is to set how big the windows have to be for it to use hyperpaint because some video cards\AGP buses aren't fast enough to do large windows.
