Mozilla - Ready for Primetime ?
I reccomend Mozilla's smaller browser counterpart, Pheonix, but that's cause I don't really use plugins. It's faster, and there are less controls to get in the way. Roar. 
I switched to Netscape, the tabs things is awesome, plus it displays the transparencies of PGNs, instead of that ugly background in Explorer. I think Mozilla doesnt have Flash Plugin, so it might be a bad part, I think it needs to be developed, but if you plan to get out of Explorer go to Netscape 7

I think today you need a browser that fully supports most plugins (QuickTime, WMP, Flash, Java etc). I'll consider Netscape 7. It's too bad about Mozilla/Phoenix I heard it had very nice features (tab-pages) and was fast. Maybe in the near future 1yr. it will be a major player.
Yeah, but I just switched to Netscape 7 yesterday, it is very good. I changed in the preferences to search with google, that way i dont have that bar from google in my browser, which is useful, but it gets some space and looks bad. The tabbed browsing is great, and more with Objectdock, it wont use a lot of active tasks in the dock, so it will free up space. The skin is nice, it has flash, java, etc. I like it a lot, and browses correctly, plus the png works ok, which is a issue with IE. Hooe you can enjoy Netscape

As far as I know, it really depends on the version of Mozilla you are using. For Example, Flash and Shockwave plug-ins work with Mozilla 1.0 and 1.1. And as far as I know, almost any plug-in that works for Netscape 7 will work for Mozilla 10 and 1.1. I hope that you people realize that Netscape is simply Mozilla with maybe a few lines of XML changed around here and there. For Example, Ever heard of the Netscape Gecko? That technology was built upon Mozilla. I suggest any Netscape 7 User to download Mozilla 1.0 or 1.1 and see for themselfs. The only thing that I can see that is different about Netscape and Mozilla is that Mozilla doesnt come with annoying AOL ads AND includes of Pop-Up Blocker.
I myself like to test all of the new stuff out there, and thus, I use Mozilla 1.2b and Phoenix 0.4. I know for a fact that most plug-ins will not work with Phoenix, In fact, I cant even get Flash or Shockwave to Install for Phoenix. And Mozilla 1.2b is so far off from Netscapes Core that I'm pretty sure it needs different plug-ins as well.
All Im saying is, Mozilla has been ready for primetime and as far as I'm conserned, is already there. I think most of the community is just playing catch-up to this wonderful browser.
thanks for the tip, I will try Mozilla in the next days, so how do I install the plugins for it? I just go to the plugin webapage get to install the plugin for netscape? or go to macromedia and it will detect that i dont have the plugin and install it?
I'm using Phoenix here and just updated my Quicktime plugin without a problem. Most of the big plugins (QT, Flash, etc) will detect Mozilla and install the Netscape 7 version of the plugin.
You guys realise that any Netsacape 7 plugin will work on mozilla right?
Mozilla is ready for prime time, its been ready for prime time for a while, it the only browsers that I've been using since they released v1.0, navigation tabs are awesome.
