I will make a graphite version as well as a compact version.

As far as the search goes... The idea I came up with is to use an avedesk shortcut desklet positioned ontop of the search icon in the taskbar linked to windows search. I provided a png for this in the ave apps forum. It works for the time being.

Could you post a screenshot of how your display properties looks? It should look just like the one I posted.

@ haul. are you using the skin for per application settings or as the main skin? Which skin are you using as the default skin? What I have found is that for some reason the display properties panel and I guess other properties seem to take there background color from the main skin. So if you are not using my Tiger skin as the main skin, then it seems the colors differ. I am not sure of a way to fix this. I am working on the graphite version now. In the meantime here is another update.

The only thing different is the sysem prefs windows now have an option to show buttons like the real tiger. They are of course non - functional but the look good

OH!.. that is done using either flyakites system files or stefankas system files. Look for them in the customizing windows subforum. They are both great. Hope that helps.

For instance: the search pane on the top right is sweet,

but doesn't work so what's the use?

Same effect as in Kol's WB Tiger skin: the search icon on the top right...nice visual, but no functionality!

Also I'd like to see a roll-up button on the top-right of a window.

In WB you can set this function no matter what (I've gotten quire used to it), but eastetically a button completes the feel.

It's also great to have pulsing buttons All I need now is a Tiger OB theme that looks as good as crni's panther theme ...hmmmm

Most of all, I LOVE the fact you added toolbar and aimation graphics!

This has been one of my bigger stumbling blocks in achieving total macification...that is, until now

I wish that I could make the search stuff work but I cant. I like the way it looks, and the reason I removed the roll up button from the system prefs skin is because the skin would not look good rolled up because of the way the buttons are placed and... there is no roll up button on mac preferences screens. The skin is not meant to be used for everything only the prefs windows. That is why it includes substles. That being said.. I would be happy to add the button back where it was if you would like. I will send you a version with it. No problem.

This is a known problem. It usually does not flicker but it does sometimes. Nothin I have found that can fix it. I will continue to troubleshoot though. Glad you guys like the skin. Graphite version coming soon.
