no fair...i don't want to watch it again...3.9 hours...gaaa, i didn't go to the theathers to re watch it when it comes out on dvd. Stupid creators, what are they thinking!!

How much is it? I don't know if I need/want the figure, but I deffinatly want the extended version.

Yeah I'll be getting it, too... I was already dreading how much they were going to add to the already mammoth 3rd film... and this confirms it for me... (I wonder if Peter Jackson has a deal with a maker of some kind of bed-sore cream or something...)

I was moping around on an IRC channel a few months ago and I heard talk of The Hobbit being released in 2006! Is this just a lame rumour?
Peter Jackson is signed to do The Hobbit movie. They got the rights, but now the Tolkien Estate wants to renegotiate (Tolkien's sons is a moron and is greedy). If everything goes well, once Jackson is done with the King Kong movie (currently in the late stages of filming), he will start on The Hobbit. That is the latest I have heard about a Hobbit movie.
Thats good news! I hope he doesnt make "The Battle of Five Armies" take up half the damn movie like he did with Minas Tirith.
