Aqua-Soft ForumsI'm new to skinning/theming, but after seeing alot of very nice os x themed windows desktops, I'd really like to get into it. Basically the main thing I'm stuck on right now is what programs to use. I want to use whatever is best for mimicking mac desktops and also what is most commonly used amongst mac themers.
I dont know whether to go all Stardock apps, all freeware community apps, or mixed. So could some of you make some suggestions as to which is going to be more able to emulate a mac and also whats popular among the community...
General theme: WindowBlinds, Visual Styles, ect
Dock program: Yz Dock, ObjectDock, Mobydock, ect
Finder bar: ObjectBar, ect
Special Effects: WindowFX, Yz Shadow, ect
Other needed apps??
Those are just some of the ones I've heard about. If there are any other programs out there that I haven't mentioned, or programs for other types of features please let me know. And let me know which you would recommend. Appreciate you helping a n00b. Thanks.
