Aqua-Soft ForumsHey all, I've been looking around for a while, but I can't seem to find a fm radio for the computer. I have seen a mouse that has a radio built in, but what I'm really looking for is something software controlled. Aka I click a button on the screen and it goes to a preset station. Have any of you seen something like this?

You would need an FM Tuner card. If you have that, it should come with the necessary software.
Many radio stations' websites have streaming audio on them, you could make a link to this page on your desktop, so you could listen to their station through the web.
a while back, quicktime had links on the initial "page" to various radio stations, which streamed through the player. i believe this has now been removed.
finaly, itunes has a radio section, where you can listen to quite a few radio stations, none of these are local for me, seing as i live in the uk

@the_funkymonkey: I would do that, except the main reason I'm not is that the computer I am trying to use the radio on is not connected to the internet or a network, so thats out. Also I'm hoping to get some local stations and maybe record stuff.
None that I could recommend farty. Sorry. I only know of it because I've seen an IBM FM Tuner card once. Never tried it though.
A quick look through google, it seems that nowadays they're combo'ed with TV tuners. Haven't seen a stand alone FM Tuner card.
A good source to look would be newegg.com as it has a few of these combo cards with buyers' ratings and reviews.

Don't know what digital radio is like where you are, but I have the Psion Wavefinder on my PC to listen to the radio. It's great - picks up over 30 digital stations at home, and I can just click on the station map to instantly tune in to whichever one I want
