Hi all,

I'm working on a series of clean, simple wallpapers that I though I would share with the community.

The note in the snapshot explains it all.

Very nice, I'd use 'em.

I usually prefer these kinds of wallpaper anyway. I'm not into all that 'Hey, I have a hotgirl/Supra/Honda/Ferrari/big-**** on my desktop" stuff.

P.S. yes, i know...you didnt ask for my opinion.

Anyway, yes..I prefer this style myself..after years off dloading all different kinds of walls, space explosions, cartoon, girls, cars etc, I got tired off nothing every really matching.

So I decided to do these with just enough texture to make them interesting, a bit of lighting to make them interesting and some interesting colors.

I'm getting to upload the first set in a day or 2...it's an ongoing project though...as I find more interesting color combinations I will add more to it.

hey i was reading that funky message on your screen shot, and the crystal mice are pretty cool stuff. you can check out some nice hi-res pics in my online gallery, i had a black one but then got the pearl one instead.. they are both very slick and have great wow appeal.. and just look clean-dandy.

the no button thing takes a bit to get used to.. say a few hrs, but i am almost prefering it to the 2-button style mouse.

Grusic, nice wallpapers! I'm using them right now. I'm also tired of putting girls, cars and psychedelic stuff on my desktop. How did you put in the shadow for the taskbar? That's a great idea, especially for WindowsFX users. I want to add some shadows to the "Something Bumpy" series of wallpapers that I got from Studio28. Thanks for the help.

Hi Aries,

I created the wallpapers in Paint Shop Pro and used its "Drop Shadow" function to do that.

And thanks for the compliment.

How do you get the harddrive icons free space available to come up and is it active? Does it change as you fill the drive up? Is there a tutorial that helps to set this up?
