[help]which Blog Software Is Best?

I've used MovableType (2.x) and GreyMatter. It depends on whether you want to spend money.. I really recommend both, although MT is "smoother" and "faster" I personally think.. GreyMatter is very stable, any errors (on your part) are described in detail; where as MT's rebuild errors are usually confusing or lacking.

Thanks for your help guys, I'll give some of these a go. What I'm mainly looking for is blogging software which is easy to customize - all the one's I've tried so far have an incredibly complicated template system which is impossible for simple-old-me to understand :P

Then go with GreyMatter; it's got a very simple template system (but there are 6-7 templates to each page, but not hard to understand, just one for each thing). It's simple to edit a saved look and then edit the parts needed to incorporate GM.

i use some discontinued software, i believe its called b2 or something. i forget the name since i haven't used it in 2 weeks or more. :P
