Annoying Blank Icon In Systray

OK Ive keep getting this small but very annoying problem....

I get this blank icon in my system tray it does nothing and I cant click it but when I tell windows to hide the icon the window shows a Folder with the title "" and whenever I tell it to 'always hide' it resets to show every time I restart Windows.

Like I say its a really small problem but it annoys me I like to keep my desktop tidy and I have to hide this dam icon every time I use my computer.

try clearing past items: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?...B;EN-US;Q283084

and resetting everything.

of course, you should really find out what it is. see if something is loading at startup.
