Konfabulator Weather Port..anyone?

Can someone please port the konfabulator weather widget to Avedesk? If you need the graphics i can send them to you. Thanks,

Most of these fun widgets can be done with the help of the almighty SysStats v2. Do a search on this board for it.

Also, using the images in the konfabulator widget is considered a copyright breach and the creator refuses to give out permission.

And 1:1 copying of applications and user-interfaces that Apple made isn't? I'm sure that Apple uses something called copyright for their products to protect them, from people who try to copy it. Talk about being a hypocrite. <_<

Those weather icons are being used for almost every weather docklet I've downloaded here. And it's all of a sudden wrong to use them now?

The weather docklet I have on my XP box uses the same icons as the Konfabulator weather widget on my mac, and I didn't port them over...

We could talk and talk tand talk about the hipocresy that is happening here yes we are aware of the trickyness of the situation but it would only get us to one conclusion: "closing down A-S" and i expect we dotn want that.

As for the copyright of the images, im sorry but it still stands. Arlo Rose has made it clear enough more than once that he does not give out permission. As they have done in macthink.net, you can recreate the images and that is fine, as long as you have proof (psd's and such) that you have actually MADE them.

The weather images might be rips, yes, but that is not our problem. Our problem starts when they are posted here. Also, consider that they are replicas of the originals, with the amount of talented artists we have here that is an option.

As said, we could continue this discussion along the lines of right and wrong but we wont here as it would be offtopic.
