There's no difference between the Tiger (v2) and Panther (v1.x) Xcode icon..

The Press Release (which most people seem to be using to get the "new" icons) is simply darker than a true "screen" of OS X.

Right, so topic closed...

If you release something that has close to NO work in it (ie a black to white gradient wallpaper or a saturation change job) dont expect people to roll over in amaze for it.
