[help] Needs A Server

Hey there... here's my situation: I want to install some type of server that will be very user friendly for the clients. :blink:

I first thought of an FTP server but the client has to look for a client program and has to punch in the i.p. along with pass and user...

Then i thought of an html server but i have no clue on how it works..

Here's what i'd like to do...

i want to host a picture database where users can upload and download pictures...

If you have questions please feel free to ask and i will feed you.

I think what you want to do is possible in most if not all linux distors. Fedofra has a good server managment software BUILT in and its FREE!!!!!!!!!!

I think you can host a http server off it aswell.

THINK I never used it so I dont know..

As simple as this website to use, just requires a php webserver, with imagemagick installed.

I've downloaded PHP5

and i've downloaded Gallery...

If i ever encounter some problems, will you help me?? :cry:
