Weekly News

I have the green light from Timan and a few others to do a variation of the AquaSoft daily news from years back (I think it's been 2 years since I did my last news report!). Instead of daily, this will be weekly, and will focus on ANYTHING that might effect the community, from new skins, icons and applications to PC and Apple hardware, legal matters in the industry, and other applicable news. I will also, from time to time, include previews of anticipated beta software.

Each weekly report could be thought of as a mini blog, with emphasis and web links to new items and information.

In order to make this the best possible, I need this communities help. If you come across a new icon set, a new skin, a new dock, a new app, or ANYTHING relevant to this community please PM me with the information, and include a link to the information/ item if possible.

These little community news reports have always been my strongest way to give back to Aqua Soft members. Let's make this new go around the best it can possibly be! :woot:

I think this is a fantastic idea This would be good for the members that are at work or school full time and not be able to log on everyday they would get everything they need in 1 chunk. Very nice idea

As an idea, we could offer past weeks news as pdf's.

I would be able to put them together and host them if that need be, all though it could get alot of bandwidth, but to start I could host them.

Please keep posting news...this will be more expansive than the regular news, more of a summary. Trust me when I tell you it wont just be me writing "New iPod this week (link here". You get full Deadzombie commentary on how an item may or may not effect the community, if it sucks or rocks and basically whatever bad humor I can include.

Think: Informative weekly post by an insane person with too much time on his hands.

Believe it or not, UNbeliever, this enterprise isnt about your news posting abilities. Its just something (old) new for the site... the only way YOU will be affected is if you read something interesting from my weekly reports.

hey don`t get me wrong i`m totally PRO this thing

and i wouldn`t mind someone helping me with the news either, as i can`t be always around.

i`m welcoming this idea and can`t wait to read all the dirt about AS "elders" (PLEASE tell me there will be a weekly gossip column about Mods & Admins )
