[request] Imail Skin For Outlook Express

Hi,

If anyone has the iMail skin for Outlook Express please email it tome.I'm desperate.Been looking for it al ong time,no luck.All old link don't work,and I can't stand using Outlook Express anymore (sometimes I get this feeling just to throw my PC out of the window). Please guys.

there isn't really a "skin" for oe, but file mods. is that what you're looking for?

you can reshack all the files. that's what i did. i can give you mine, but it's not really complete, and it's not entirely imail.

there was a program that automaticly changed oe to look like mail, but i dont hav it sorry. i used it in the past, but most ppl use thunderbird now.

the oe mod pack? that's an older version. since windows updates overwrites oe with updated files, if you use the pack, you'll be unpatched. re-modding is the best way here.

sent! i only modded the .exe file and msoeres.dll (which are the main ones), and you can modify whatever icons you want by using resource hacker.

if you want to mod more, you'll need to hack the other .dll files.

Wait.. so it is possible to mod msoeres? OE gave me an error about corrupted files or something when I changed the icons :cry:

every time? i never had a problem.

i just copied the files to the desktop, reshacked them, saved, then replaced with replacer.

i have tried the hide menu bar option in objectbar, but it doesn't seem to work on outlook express.
