"The iPods will come with files including academic calendars and campus maps, and students will be able to download course information, language lessons, music, recorded lectures and audio books from a university Web site similar to Apple's iTunes Internet music store. Students will also be able to buy music through the Duke site"

/writes his own follow up article

The original files will be deleted mere seconds after having enough battery life for synching up the ipod with the student's computers. And a massive new p2p campus wide network of anti-RIAA material will be set up before the end of the year. :P

exactly what i was thinking...

99.9% of the people won't give a rat's about using it for academic purposes and the .1% will be a small band of nerds who go onto forums to mod it... hahaha geeks. :nerd:

if i were given the chance, i would use it for academics.
