Evenin' all. I'm working on a little movie project and I'm looking for a sound clip of that effect you get when you move the pin from a record really fast. That sort of 'ripping' sound you get; use your imagination 
It's quite a popular sound; I've heard it in a lot of places, so I'm suprised I haven't been able to find it. Anyway, can anyone help me find a place where I could get it? .wav or .mp3 format would be best, but I'm not fussy 
i know on a cd i have by a group "chemlab" called "burn out at the hydrogen bar", they have that sound at the end of one of the songs... If i'm not mistaken, it's the last track on the cd, just called "suture"...
either find the song and rip that one section of it off or if you want, wait until tonight and i can do it for you.
