[help] My Strange Ibook's Display Bug Problem

I have a strange display problem on my new ibook G4 1,2GHZ.

Look below on my 2 links.

First

Look at the lower right on safari : the big blank angle ! arghhhh. It happens on differents positions. When I scroll, when I minimise, when I maximise, on differents areas on the right off my screen.

Second

On ical for example it's the same...Do you see the angle ? Here you saw the finder that is just on the background of iCal. Sometimes I have big , really big angles and I can see my wallpaper in the middle of an application.

I called Apple. They don't know for the moment. I have tried almost everything.

* reset PRAM

* reset PMU

* Create a new user

* Format and restore MACOSX, updates of videos .

* external display (same video result on a vga screen )

* Upgrade to 768 MO RAM instead of 256 Mo

The only mode that prevents me off having this glitches is "safe mode " (SHIFT key maintained at reboot ). Extensions are disabled (airport and sound disabled ) and it's working.

Apple is recording my incident and I will call back on Saturday to have level 2 support and if they have some ideas about that but I think I will have an empty box at home to put it in really soon.

Some ideas gentlemen ? Me and Apple are brainstorming :blink:

Oups I forgot to tag with [help] . Admins may slap me ....

Does it occur when you aren't using that theme (ie. on normal Aqua)?

It occurs even just the first seconds after formating/restoring with the Apple restore CDs.

So no Shapeshifter installed.

god that sucks. opening the lid on mine for the first time was a real mix of excitement and worry after hearing and reading many such stories. i don't think you'll find much help here about this problem, but i hope you get it sorted quickly. sounds like you might get a replacement model to me, if apple itself can't figure out what the hell is up.

Yeah, that's bizarre.

The lady I had on the phone said to me it must be the video card. I will call them tomorrow to have a fix with level 2 support team but I think I will have a replacement model too.

But I don't care. I prefer to have this now. I use my warranty.

That's life

To be continued.

EDIT :my iBook is in Apple's White Beauty clinic for a lifting. :P . 10 days remaining.
