[help] A Friend In Need...

All of you were very kind to me in my time of need and I am still eternally yours.

Well, this time it isnt me who needs the help.

My friend, Jamie, is stuck in New York. She went there to live with some people she met thru the internet, but when she got there they changed their minds and told her they had no room for her.

Now, she's broke and sleeping on someones couch until she can get the money to go back home.

I gave her the $32 I had in my PayPal but she could use more, obviously, and since all of you were so good to me when I needed it, I am posting this in the hopes that you can help her get a ticket out of there. Not only that, but to show her that there are still good people in the world.

For obvious reasons, she won't allow me to post her bank account number on the web, so you can use the PayPal link on the bottom of the front page of my website and I can forward it to her bank account.

The lesson to this? People on the internet sometimes arent trustworthy and sometimes they are (my sister went to england a few times and is planning on living there because of someone she met through live journal)

I am still hoping that some of you can assist me in helping Jamie.

Thanks to the wonderful subliminalis for the contribution. More people should be like that. subliminalis, like myself, was once stranded in an unknown town with naught and, with the help of others, was able to escape peril and live on to help someone else...like jamie.

We are both firm believers in helping others because of the help we recieved. It was a debt we owed and can never fully pay back except for fleeting moments of generosity, where we can apply it.
