I prefer hacking .dll myself using reshacker.

All I need is the icon, I can figure out where to put it.

With that icon, you couldn't, it is too wide, only can be done with yztoolbar. But with this 2 column view icon, it is possible.

sorry, I don't have the views icon file, it is taken from Goku's Yztoolbar theme. I only have the bmp file to replace with the one in shell32.dll
