[help] Programs To Edit Msstyles Files ?

Hy.

This might seem a "****ie" question :smartass: , but what programs do you use to edit/create MSStyles files ?

The onle one i know of is "StyleBuilder" by TGTSoft.

What other tools do you know (and their URL) and what's your opinion about that program ?

There is not other software that can do it, as far as I know.

The other method is to Reshack the theme, changing

the single bmp and png, but it isn't so simple.

I suggest to learn using StyleBuilder, it's not hard. It's only

a matter of practice.

TGTsoft has an alternative to ResHack...

it's called ResBuild..

and there is also a program called Restorator..

and yet another, called Resource Tuner.

these ResHack alternatives allow you to replace more than one bitmap at a time..

also..

the most important tool... is notepad..

for editing the actual theme layout files..
