[help] Modding Visual Style

hey all!

i'm continuing on my crusade to get minimal, and i'm trying to remove the glyphs from my visual style.

i want the glyphs gone, and appear only when i hover over them. i've managed to remove the active and inactive ones, but after i hover, the glyphs seem to stick on the titlebar until i make the window inactive.

is there a way to get that particular effect? does anyone know the order of the glyphs in the bitmap?

hush66 told me that the first 4 are for active windows, and the last 4 for inactive windows.

i created the attached bitmap, but the glyphs still stick on the titlebar after hovering. they don't disappear right away.

any ideas why this happens?

edit: got it. someone on neowin told me that it had to do with the transparency. used a base color, and it looks ok now.
