hmm, here's a quick recap of my days.

-lost the job i was supposed to get, so looking for work.

-contacting alumni to network for jobs.

-applying to consulting/financial companies in chicago.

-writing paper #2 in my series of philosophical papers that i hope to get published.

-working on a theory of negotiation for a bargaining game in extensive form.

-reading a collection of papers by famous pragmatists.

-modding visual style and shell32.dll.

-going out with gf.

Here goes the past 24 hours:

Waited for UPS guy to deliver check, discovered UPS lost my check between Colorado & Texas. Go UPS!

Finished 82 close out projects for client. Made mad money. (not very good if UPS cant get my money to me now is it?)

Played with kick ass beta software. Finished initial beta review including all serious and non serious issues with app. Believe me, the positives far outwieigh the negatives.

Finished Painkiller. Very dissappointed with Lucifer as final boss and ending to storyline. It was going so good, why'd Dreamcatcher have to wrap everything up like that?

Watched Southpark marathon. Kick ass!

Slept. Woke up. Ate pop tarts.

Checked email, yelled at UPS.

Drank lots of coffee. Talked to wife about how to beat Painkiller (shes a few levels from finishing).

Looked at .psd from Photoshop Tennis match, decide to do paying work first.

Looked at mountain of work I have from two clients, all due by Monday. Still looking at it.

Looked at Swingset/ Fort in garage. Thinking about putting off construction of it until next weekend - I dont feel like pouring concrete posts for it ATM. Kids can wait week.

Looked at lawn. Needs to be mowed seriously bad. Looked at neighbors lawn, decided ours looked better, putting off mowing until Monday.

Now: Time to cruise forums for 15min, drink more coffee, take shower then start on work. Gotta keep the clients happy. Thinking what music I want for the day and what type of coffee to make next.

Recieved an email from my boss giving me work to do before I go on vacation from a big client

Worked on the logo stage 1 (vector)

@deadzombie: You should have a Quad Caramel Mocha (I dont know if starbucks has that flavor, but my coffee shop has it). Sounds like you need lots of energy.

Woke Up around mid-day

Checked emails and message boards

Played some Enemy Territory

Had some lunch

Helped around the house

Played some more Enemy Territory, checked 'boards again and did some more work on the next Suite

Had a spicy vegetable curry :woot:

Watched some TV

Helped do some clearing up around the house

Checked boards and answered pointless topics like this one

Probably going to go to bed soon - rather tired

God I love Saturdays.

Woke up at 6 am.

Ate breakfast and then went to work.

Came home about 5 pm.

Took a shower and ate something.

After that, I've been doing only useless things, like playing some games and teaching Stevie how to use the search feature.

Got up.

Went downstairs.

Applied for cattle passports.

Got grumpy because two of the passports were rejected by the website so had to do it over the phone.

More paperwork 'til lunch.

Went out onto farm.

Picked up four trailer loads of round bales with a co-worker (nearly destroying a car whose driver doesn't understand what "Long Vehicle" means).

Fed calves.

Went back into house.

Got showered.

Went to visit girlfriend.

Come home.

Visit A-S and see a ridiculous thread that needed contributing to.

Wrote this.

Future plans:

Get changed.

Go to sleep.
