Looks nice, however this is only for floating tabbed docks right? Because the middle titlebar button would be halfway sticking out when the dock is hidden or something like that.

yes, for non hidden docks, for the hidden version the background does not have the min max close buttons since they are just eye candy anyways.
I know what you are going for is looks. But something you might want to think about, is that on OSX if all 3 buttons are disbled it doesn't show any.
