Has anyone heard anything at all about Konfab for windows? Arlo, or whoever runs the show over there, said something about a..well lets see. This is the timeline:

Release in October 2003
Release by end of 2004
Release Spring 2004

No word after that. It is now well into the summer. I doubt, at this rate, that it will ever be ported. Anyone know?
Well I don't know personallly, but making the transition to windows is obvious, ever since tiger was annonounced with dashboard. I always thought CRNI was a beta tester, you should PM him.

too bad it is in japanese only (but i can see the third konfab clone there,no, the fourth, no, the fifth.....).

A recent cnet article interviewing the guy at Konfab recently stated that all of their focus is currently on the Windows release of Konfab. This was after the announcement of Dashboard with Tiger (the reason behind the interview), meaning this is current news.
also, they supposedly had a falling out with the guy who was doing the windows port... something about him wanting to retain rights to the code,
hence the delay(supposedly)
With that one guy leaving it seems that they had to get a new guy and rewrite portions. But I am not holding my breath for them to release it. Their forums make very little mention of it and the recent interview said that their options might be either move to another platform or work on a new project.
Arlo Rose didn't specify which platform they would be moving to. I myself am not holding my breath for Konfabulator to come out for windows but I hope they surprise us and release it.
But I kinda think sometime in the near future they should make an update as to the status of the windows version as they had already announced it quite a while ago in 2003 already from looking at cnet.
