I Got A New Tripod!

I am going on a trip to the great NW (Washington and Oregon namely)

I love taking pictures with my ol' yashica FX-3 so I decided that I need a nice tripod to go along with it! Here is the site:

What do you plan to use it for though? Lanscapes or just family photos and all? I just got me one of those 10$ mini-tripods for my digital camera, thing raises about a foot, and pretty good too.

you should get a remote release, set the camera to bulb, and get some 'trailing star' shots when your out there... great night skys with little light pollution.

that'll be a test for your tripod :canadian:

its a good excuse to stay up all night too.

Yeah...I take lots of pictures of different things (jun0.deviantart.com)

I mostly plan to take landscapes and animals (if I can find em) because we will be doing alot of hiking. I have a remote release but the BIG challenge is making sure no plane goes by or anything while taking the picture. Plus, night photography is always experimental (exposure times and such).

I use film so there is no 'idiot screen' like on a digi cam.

i had a cheep trypod thats laying on my floor cuase i lost the shoe. and i had a nice one, thats back in newyork. and i had a freakin awsome studeo trypod that was attached to a view camera(wow i dont even think im saying that right). god i miss being in my old studio... :cry:

tripod= idiot stand, lol just joking.

I just dont use them unless im doing some table top stuff, im all about hand holding
