What program are you trying to use? Am I right in thinking that you want to make a pattern with a 45 degree line that you can re-use over and over? If not, I don't know what you're asking...
You can use the transform tool in photoshop.
Make a line by making a marquee, any size. Right click the line and click Free Transform.
Spin it any way you like!
I think he means making a tiling pattern of a 45 degree line thingi in photoshop...just select a box, i don't think it can be a square, and define pattern, its got to start where it ends.
well, i really dont think you can get that to be a pattern... you will have to make it a horizontal pattern (ie one line white, one line pink) and then fill a bigger area than the one you want to use and CTRL+T it and rotate it to 45°
The thing is that when that specific pattern repeats itself, it will never start from where it ended, it will start from the result of its length affected by its angle. or something....
