Recommend A Chair?

Since I know all you guys do is sit on your arses all day you must sit in a chair...

Well I am in the need of a new chair, mine has seriously started to kill my back.

So if you guys could recommend me a cheap ~130$ chair, mesh material if possible, something that looks slick, black, and won't hurt your back if your sitting in it for more than 5 min. It also must be able to be raised and lowered and to spin around in so I can have fun! :staffs here:

Can't work on aqua-soft with a hurting back, that means no "tiger skin.

Yeah Im gonna have to get myself a serious chair to. Im

sitting on this run-of-the-mill puffy armchair that makes inch-deep

scratches on the floor when I push it back from my desk to

get up If you live somewhere in the USE I would check out

OfficeMax. They have some really good deals on chairs and

stuff. Especially "After-Rebates". Good luck.

Best thing to do is head into the local Office Depots or Office Max's and see what they have available. Everytime I'm in one of these office stores they have unadvertised specials on chairs. My chair was originally $299... I picked it up for $79 (clearance).

I wish my chair hadn't been replaced by a new model... it's fully adjustable, including back (great for long hours in front of the computer), evenly padded seat and it's wide enough to sit 'Indian style' in, with my legs tucked underneath me.

Super comfy.

WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT GET A CHAIR WITH MOLDED PADDING. What may seem like a comfortable, 'form fitting' design will become irritating as hell as you shift and adjust over the hours in your chair. No offense, but the molded back on the chair above just looks like torture to me. Think about it...who wants to sit on a bumby surface for hours when you could just have a nice cushy surface? :6

Deadzombie @ awesome deal on the chair bud. with comfort comes productivity. It's always worth going to the office stores to find a great deal, you never know what you'll find in the furniture section of the store.

that is key to being comfortable... you have to be able to work that into your [geek]sitting rotation.

I went to 2 office max and 1 office depot yesturday, they had 1 chair but it was kinda pricey, most of the leather chairs just look so cheap, plus felt so uncomfortable (not sure if it was because they were either new, which means it was hard as a rock, or if its because its been sat it too many times).

yeah, i'm looking for a chair too.. i've got the added problem of having a weirdly built body LOL i'm 6'3, but most of that is upper body, i've got really short legs.. so most chairs that are around the top of the chair, that should be giving upper back/neck support, is below my shoulderblades, which makes for very.. uncomfortable sitting. lolol so, if anyone knows of a chair w/ a very high back, please say so.. otherwise, i'm spending the next couple weeks building the computer chair i've been planning. fiberglass molded body chair, w/ tilt w/ locking spots, so you sit down like a normal chair, and can recline back, like a recliner, but the chair just slides.. like sliding around the inside of a circle. side swing mounts for my wireless keyboard and mouse, and another side swivel for the LCD..
